Findley Lake in Autumn

On our fifth wedding anniversary in October 1997, Karl surprised me by whisking me away on a romantic weekend in Chautaqua County, New York. I didn't know where we were headed until we pulled into the parking lot of Peek 'n Peak, a golf and ski resort.

We had no intentions of golfing or skiing of course (it WAS our anniversary, wink wink), but we did manage to make time for some scenic drives around Findley Lake.
