Panama Rocks

Similar to Little Rock City, Panama Rocks is several acres of towering rock cities made of quartz conglomerate. During the last Ice Age, glaciers caused fractures in the rock, moved them up and created deep crevices and cracks. The entire ridge is approximately 1/2 mile long and is fun to explore the resulting caves, crevices, and passageways in this rock city.

 

Directions:
From Buffalo take I90 west to exit 60 - Westfield. Turn left onto NY394, turn right onto county route 33 after 3 miles. Follow 33 south for 10 miles until you come to 474 in panama. Turn right (west), then turn left onto Route 10 west after 1/4 mile.
